Acapella Praise

I've found this by coincidence. I rarely bought gospel albums, but since the title said "ACAPELLA", it kinda shout to me and begging me to take it home with me. Honestly, the first song that caught my attention was the first track. But what really triggered my shopping spree was the second track, "God Will Make a Way". I loved it when Don Moen sang it. But I loved it even more in acapella version. It's so sweet. So sweet it nearly got me toothache.

It's difficult to choose among those wonderful 10 tracks. Listening to the songs, I wouldn't believe that there were only 6 singers behind the harmonious melodies, plus 4 additional soloists on certain tracks. Thanks to the great arrangers, they blended in tightly they sounded like a complete choir.

So here's the Top 5 songs in album track order, based on the songs and the music arrangement. "God Will Make a Way", because it's crystally sweet. "Mourning into Dancing", because it's lively. "We Lift Up Your Name", because it dynamic. "Crown Him / Crown Him with Many Crowns Medley", because it is what it is (just be patient listening to this long one and it's really worthy. I'm dying to hear this sung on Easter Eve Mass, man, it will be brilliant). "Great is the Lord", because it's really a powerful encore I feel like giving it a standing ovation.

3. Listen to the secondary/background notes.

4. Try following singing either Point No. 2 or Point No. 3 by the lyrics given below.

5. If you can't do Point No. 4, go back to Point No. 1.

6. If you can't do all, just say "Hallelujah" and compose your own acapella songs.
